History Salon was established in 2011. It is a forum dedicated to supporting cross-disciplinary investigations of the history of information. Amongst our shared interests are the forces that shape the provision of information and production of knowledge across time.
The Salon was organized by Alistair Black and Bonnie Mak at the School of Information Sciences (the iSchool) at the University of Illinois until 2017.
